The third step in BizMed's health check is a physical doctor's visit. The medical examination takes place at BizMed's reception at Malmskillnadsgatan 37 in Stockholm and the time allotted for this is 30-45 minutes. The doctor's visit may begin with an EKG (recommended for you over 40) with a nurse and measurement of blood pressure and oxygen saturation. During the medical examination, the doctor summarizes the health declaration and the results from the sampling. A physiological examination is then carried out both based on a standard protocol and adapted based on what appeared in the health declaration and sampling. Sampling
The second step of the check is to take blood samples, which you do at any Unilabs. The blood samples are then sent on for analysis at an accredited laboratory. Read more here which samples are included, based on your health declaration, specialized tests can also be ordered. You can also choose to add, for example, PSA samples - contact BizMed in advance if you wish to add something.
Digital health declaration
The first step of the check is a digital health declaration. The health declaration is prepared in collaboration with specialist doctors, psychologists and work environment specialists. It is sent out by email about a week before sampling and consists of nine different parts that give BizMed's doctors a good basis for understanding the individual's health status. All questions are based on internationally validated and proven research. The idea is also that the individual himself should reflect on how one's various health areas function, such as sleep and diet, and then continue the dialogue during the doctor's consultation.
That's how it happens
If something is deviant and needs to be followed up, BizMed will help the individual on to the next step. In some cases, the doctor may make the assessment that it is relevant to schedule a follow-up with BizMed within an appropriate time interval.
